Ouch: Cristiano Ronaldo Criticises New Real Madrid Signings

World’s best player isn’t happy with Los Blancos’ transfer activity…

In a strangely negative statement, Real Madrid megastar Cristiano Ronaldo has heavily criticised  his club’s activity in the transfer window this summer, reports Goal.

The Champions League holders have been active in the window after last season’s success, bringing in World Cup star James Rodriguez for a monstrous £63m, and signing Bayern Munich’s German ace Toni Kroos as well.

However, to the dismay of many Real Madrid fans, the club offloaded Angel di Maria despite his excellent campaign in 2013/14, legendary midfielder Xabi Alonso and goalkeeper Diego Lopez.

“I have my strong opinions, but I can’t always say what I think. Otherwise, tomorrow it would be on the front pages and I don’t want that,” he told the press at a media event for watchmaker Tag Heuer.

“But if the president thinks the best for the team is to sign players who joined and leave out others, we must respect and support his decisions.

“With all the new players the style will change, for better or worse,” he said.

“Di Maria and Xabi were very important to us but now they are gone and we should be happy with the new players. I’m sure we’ll be fine.”

Although Ronaldo intimates that he can’t really say his true feelings, in reality he lets everyone know exactly what he’s thinking!

Real Madrid fell to a shock 4-2 defeat against Real Sociedad on Sunday evening, and will be desperate to get their campaign back on track in two weeks’ time against bitter rivals and La Liga champions Atletico Madrid.
