Citing the stormy weather conditions that have slammed the Northeast, Mexican pop star Juan Gabriel has postponed his Washington, D.C., and Ucansville, Conn., shows, originally slated for this weekend, for March 5 and Oct. 31, respectively.

The shows are part of the second leg of the U.S. portion of his Volver (Return) tour, which now kicks off Feb. 15 in Orlando’s Amway Center.

Juan Gabriel, a veteran who is one of the most entertaining Latin performers, was scheduled to go on tour early last year but was forced to cancel for health reasons. He then played a series of successful shows in the fall. This second leg of his tour coincides with the Feb. 9 release of his album Los Duos, which features duets with multiple Latin artists.

The Volver tour is produced by CMN and, for the first time in eight years, will have Juan Gabriel performing in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
