K-9 Officer Will Speak at High School Forensics Class

The officer is a member of the Danvers Police Department and will bring his canine partner, Stryka, with him to the talk.

Hamilton Wenham Regional High School’s Forensic Classes are excited to be hosting Justin Ellenton, K-9 Officer for the Danvers Police Department.

Ellenton has been a police officer for 11 years and a K-9 officer for six years. He has two canine partners: Falco (10 years old) and Stryka (2 years old). Stryka will be in attendance.

The officer will speak to our forensic students about his educational background, the police academy, training as a K-9 handler, his day-to-day work responsibilities and more.

Ellenton is also a member of Northeast Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (NEMLEC), SWAT/K-9 and has served for 23 years in the Massachusetts Army National Guard with year-long deployments to Afghanistan (2002-2003) and Iraq (2007-2008).
