School starts for some students tomorrow, Wednesday for others and next week for the really lucky.
Are you ready for first day of school pictures?
If you're tired of the same old pictures, maybe this round-up of ideas will inspire you to change things up a bit.
COOKIE SHEET --
Use magnetic letters from Dollar Tree to spell out your child's name or grade on a new cookie sheet. Have the child hold the cookie sheet for the photo. Cookie sheets are $3 at Dollar General, bags of letters of $1 at Dollar Tree. It may take several packs of letters to get what you need.
PHOTO EDITING --
Take a picture of your child off centered against a brick wall or plain wall etc. Use the photo editing tool to type out your child's stats, likes and dislikes.
CHALK --
1. Write the grade on your drive way or car port and let each child stand by their grade. You could do a group shot of all your kids. Like this idea on Pinterest.
2. Write down what your child wants to be when they grow up on a chalk board they hold.
3. Have them write their name and grade on a chalk board to document their handwriting as well.
4. Stair steps - Write the grade of each child on the face of the steps and the year at the bottom. Like this idea spotted on Pinterest.

Interview your child instead of just photographing the day. Here are some questions:
1. Name
2. Age
3. Grade
4. Hobbies
5. What they want to do this year
6. Are they nervous and why?
Etc.
TREE --
Plant a tree or find one that's around the same age as your child. Make it a tradition to photograph your child next to the tree every year.
LETTER OR NUMBER --
