The Irvine Swim League began its 30th anniversary season with a very successful and competitive week of meets last Saturday.

Colony takes on College Park

The Colony Red Hots had 76 Irvine Swim League Championship meet qualifying times, along with 25 first-place finishes. Austin Barbrick, Zack Baxter, Justine Brown, Britney Cao, Caleb Chow, Cara Chow, Cassandra Chow, Cullen Chow, Allison Doty, Jordan Fox, Preston Fox, Jonah Hobbs, Annaka Lee, Teddy Pham, Claire Poissonnier, Maddie Poissonnier, Jade Thai, Evan Tom, Nicole Tom and Isabella Vaklev qualified in all the events they swam.

Swimmers who also placed first in all their events were Teddy Pham (age 16), Zack Baxter (age 12), Cullen Chow (age 10) and Isabella Vaklev (age 8).

Siblings Tessa (6), Owen (8), and Lilly (9) Huffmire performed extremely well at this meet. Together, they dropped approximately 68 seconds. Tessa dropped over 25 seconds in her 25 Freestyle.

Many Colony swimmers also had major time improvements. Hayden Arce (age 6) dropped five seconds in her freestyle and over a minute in the backstroke. Mathis Bigot (age 7) improved by two seconds in freestyle, three seconds in breaststroke and four seconds in backstroke. David Ho (age 11) dropped 26 seconds in the backstroke and five seconds in the freestyle. Other swimmers with significant time improvements included Avery Brown, Yoni Cohen, Claudia Kiso, McKenna Kita, Xavier Mao, Lucas Rodriguez, Hansen Shao, Ana Sharp and Daniel Tong.

Both the Colony 15-18 age group and 11-12 age group 200-yard medley relay placed first for the Red Hots.

The 11-12 team included Caleb Chow, Claire Poissonnier, Jade Thai and Zack Baxter. The 15-18 team included Nicole Tom, Preston Fox, Teddy Pham and Jonah Hobbs.

The 9-10 and 13-14 age group 200-yard freestyle relays did particularly well this meet, both stealing first place.

The 9-10 group included Maddie Poissonnier, Carson Kita, Chloe Kiso and Lucas Rodriguez. The 13-14 group consisted of Austin Barbrick, Alex Rodriguez, Phoebe Lin and Bella Poblete.

College Park swimmers had one team record and 101 championship qualifying times. Dylan McCahill broke a 23-year-old record in the 7-8 age group boys 25 freestyle with a time of 14.87.

Swimmers earning championship qualifying times in three events were J.C. Allen, Malia Allen, Addison Boomsma, Kyle Cadavona, Kevin Daneman, Jack Fairchild, Emma Hank, Madison Hank, Brielle Horner, Kelsie Kan, Brooke Knisely, Ethan Knisely and Chloe Macvicar.

Also, Dylan McCahill, Michael McCahill, Sloane McCahill, Christian Miller, Addison Nelson, Will Nomura, Alex Palakian, Ashley Palakian, Joshua Schwarzbart, Karla Shimono, Angelina Song and Isabella Wall.

Both the mixed medley relay and mixed freestyle relay teams in the 5-6, 7-8, and 9-10 age groups took first place as well as the 13-14 mixed medley team, the 11-12 and 15-18 mixed freestyle teams.

The Splash took home 31 individual blue ribbons.

First-place finishers included Thomas Ahn, Maia Macvicar, Taylor Thongintra, Ethan Macvicar and Vincent Chin.

Splash swimmers, including Adi Bhattarai, who dropped 21.15 seconds in the backstroke, earned many great improvements.

Notable time improvements of 10 seconds or more were made by Jacob Boomsma, Mark Pascua, Matthew Pascua, Kyra Spear and Anthony Tatsuta.

Other strong improvements were made by Audrey Abrahams, Rohan Bhangay, Megan Brown, Kenneth Collings-Patterson, Yoji Bunnell, Jade De Los Santos, Rosalynn Dimick, Samuel Dimick, Allison Esmond, Ella Jarzyna, Emily Liu, Justin Liu, Katie Liu, Maya Mehta, Annie Schwarzbart, Bryn Stuckey, Alex Vasin, Natalie Wu and Eric Yang.

Courtside goes up against Oak Creek

The Courtside Stingrays started the season with 162 time improvements. Fifty-one Stingray swimmers improved in all of their races. Sullivan Roschmann, Luke Morrison, Jenna Morely, Parker Mallough and Mikey Abshier won all of their individual races in their age groups.

Forthe 5–6girls, Ari Powell and Caroline Parker placed in all three of their events. For the boys, Wesley Sellers took first in the backstroke and second in the butterfly.

Joseph Wraith took second in the breaststroke and Jayden Gomez was third in the backstroke.

In the 7-8 age group, Kenzie Sellers took first in the freestyle and butterfly. Angelina Abshier improved her times in all three of her races and took second in the butterfly. Samantha Bailey was third in the freestyle and butterfly, Bel Powell took first in the backstroke and Ashley Huynh was second in the breaststroke.

Forthe 7-8 boys, Luke Morrison improved his times in all of his races and Keegan McCarthy took third in the butterfly, backstroke and freestyle. Marco Honda took second in the breaststroke.

In the girls 9-10 age group, Claire Chow took second in the butterfly and third in the individual medley, improving her times in all her races.

For the 9-10 age group boys, Mikey Abshier was first in the 50-yard butterfly, 50 freestyle and 100 individual medley, improving his times in all three of his events. Jaesang An took first in the backstroke and breaststroke.

Caleb Empig took third in the breaststroke.

Forthe 11-12 age group, Page Press placed first in the 50 butterfly and 50freestyle and was second in the100 individual medley. Makena Pellazer was second in the butterfly and third in the backstroke. Paige Riches took first place in the 50 backstroke and 50 breaststroke, improving her times in all her races.

For the 11-12 boys, Jake Morrison placed in the top three in all his races. Darren Huynh placed third in the 100 individual medley. Elijah Routley was second in the 50 breaststroke and 50 freestyle, also improving his times in all his races.

In the 13-14 age group,Kate Jensen took first in the 50 butterfly and was second in both the 50 backstroke and 100 individual medley, shattering her previous best times in all three of her events.

Jenna Morley took first in both the breaststroke and freestyle and Molly Mcllrath was third in the 50 butterfly with three time improvements. Katie Mirmak was third in the 50 backstroke, also improving all of her times. Esil Empig took third in the100 individual medley.

The 13-14 boys were paced by Parker Mallough, who won all of his races. Nicholas Huynh was first in the individual medley and took second in the 50 freestyle and 50 butterfly. Shane Saito took third in the100 individual medley and Kelvin Akinyemi was second in the 50 backstroke.

Forthe 15-18 age group, Hannah Mcllrath took first in the freestyle and second in the butterfly. Danica Morley was third in both the backstroke and individual medley. Cora Swancoat took third in the breaststroke and Samantha Ibasitas was third in the50 freestyle.

Collin Press took second in both the 50 butterfly and freestyle. Jason Wong was second in both the 50 breaststroke and 100 individual medley, Gregory Mikhanjian was third in the breaststroke, Noah Zaldivar won the50 backstroke and Scott Riches placed second in thesame event.

For the Oak Creek Orcas, Addison Cadena placed first or second in all three of her events.

Orca 9-10 girls Allan Brooke,Claire Cho, Jacqueline Choi, Nicole Karraa, Mikayla King, Megan Lee, Lana Makarem,Sydney Paidosh and Elizabeth Yawata swept first through sixth places in either the freestyle or backstroke, finished in the top spots in the breaststroke, butterfly and individual medley. The group also was part of a win in the 100 mixed medley relay.

Jesse Le, Caitlyn Selby, Victor Kim, Kenneth Tang, Ben Tiomkin and Ethan Watanabe also placed high in the 100 freestyle relay.

Ashley Niu was first, second or third in all of her individual events.

Other Orcas placing first or second in all three of their events included Kailie Michalak, Tyler Mura, Cole Saeger and Declan Tompkins.

Other Orcas improving their time in all three of their events were Jongmin Chae, Oswaldo Diaz III, Caelyn Hughes, Daniel Lavi, Madison Lee, Tobias Nguyen,Adam Tiomkin, Ben Tiomkin and Zachary Yawata.

The Orcas made big improvements in backstroke this week, with 18 Orcas improving by three seconds or more, includingRyan Baran, Katherine Berg, Jacob Berg, Lauren Bruner, Nicholas Chiang, Brandon Chiu,Noah Cho, OswaldoDiaz III, Ava Diaz, Chloe Duncan,Millie Eyre, Zerah Hughes, Changhyun Lim and Ronit Mathur.

Also, Sydney Paidosh, Adam Tiomkin, Collin Watanabe and Ethan Watanabe.

Heritage Park swims with Deerfield

The Heritage Park Seals showcased talent and growth in their first dual meet of the season against the Deerfield Bluefins.

The 5-6 age group mixed 100 medley relay team of Jacob Harper, Adhit Natla, Aysa Mir and Armeen Goshtasbi finished first with a time of with a time of 3:02.09.

The 7-8 age group mixed 100 medley relay team of Natalia

Grimes, Kathleen Hue, Emily Kamfar and Aden Ahmed was first in 1:42.00.

The 9-10 medley relay team of Jaylah Miller, Sunny Wang, Ethan Ongkeko and Junhyung Yoon won in 2:59.80.

Kaitlyn Suk swam to first place finish in the 11-12 age group girls 50 butterfly (35.89) and 50 backstroke (37.86).

Other first-place finishes went to Garrick Ho in the 13-14 age group boys 50 butterfly in 32.25 and 50 freestyle in 27.83, Kyle Pendleton in the 15-18 age group boys 50 butterfly in 28.25 and boys 50 backstroke in 30.22, Arvin Ding in the 11-12 age group boys 50 backstroke in 45.19, Sierra Doden in the 15-18 age group girls 50 freestyle in 29.34, Thomas Suk in the boys 15-18 age group individual medley in 1:05.88, Daalia Jaafar in the girls 13-14 age group 50 breaststroke in 1:03.60 and Justin Ho in the 15-18 age group boys 50 breaststroke in 31.38 and 50 freestyle in 24.82.

Kelly Robles took first in the 5-6 age group girls 25 breaststroke in 1:05:56 and Ryan Hayes celebrated a six-second improvement in the 7-8 age group boys 25 breaststroke with a time of 31.97.

First place in the 11-12 age group mixed 200 freestyle relay went to Ryan Yu, Ainsley Zapata, Arvin Ding and Shaun Waikman in 2:25:43.

First place in the 15-18 age group mixed 200 freestyle relay was awarded to Davy Luoma, Lindsay Solis, Andy Luoma and Sierra Doden.

Deerfield’s mixed medley relay teams placed first in 11-12, 13-14 and 15-18 age groups, while their medley relay teams finished second in 5-6, 7-8 and 9-10 age group divisions.

Deerfield freestyle relay teams took first place as well in 5-6, 7-8, 9-10 and 13-14 age groups. The Bluefin 11-12 and15-18 age group freestyle relay teams each finished second.

Deerfield Bluefin swimmers who finished first in two or more individual events were Arista Kusuma, Joy Yomogida, Deacon Moss, Allyson Kusuma, Beck Moss, Leah Duggan,Travis Swift, and ParisMajor.

Swimmers who earned three time improvements were Johanna Godfrey,Marco Tanikawa, Joy Yomogida, Stephanie Park, AdrianaIgnash, Lucas Tanikawa, Joshua Godfrey, Ariel Tsai, Caden Seto, Ava Mehraein, Alicia Snyder, Idhika Padhi, Maanasa Panuganti, Braedon Steiner, Kai Wang, Liam Mayer, MadisonWebster, and Luke Duggan.

Deerfield swimmers with two individual time improvements were Nathan Cinco, Andrew Hiranprasitikul, Annie Hiranprasitikul, Arta Khosravi, ShruthikaKunta, Srijan Kunta,Luke Lagumbay, Kamryn Ly, Serafina Martinez,Alan Maver and Arshia Mehraein.

Also, Srishti Patel, Alex Phan, Vikram Rajan, AdityaRawat, Prateek Rout,Jillian Rucker, JustinSeto, Richard Tang, Joshua Tu, Edward Vanyekgambsky, Nicholas Webster and Yu Zhou.

Deerfield Bluefins swimmers had 31 individual first-place blue ribbons and 149 individual time improvements.

North Irvine and South Irvine swimmers drops times

The North Irvine Knights swam a great meet with Haley Truong breaking two team records in the 11-12 girls age group.

She now holds the best time for the 50-yard butterfly at 33.92 and the 100 individual medley at 1:14.50.

Michelle Chuang set a Knights’record in the 50 butterfly in 30.38.

In North Irvine’s 5-6 boys age group, Connor Truong, Cole Bitterlich and Brandon Bertino took the top threespots in the 25 butterfly event, and each earned time improvements.

Gabi Taylor, Reese Salazar,Nick Grulke, Michelle Chuang and Brandon Bertino finished first in all three of their individual events.

Christian Jacobson had a time improvement and an exciting first place finish in the 11-12 boys 50 freestyle.

Nikhil Pai (7-8 age group) and Ryan Chu (9-10 age group) both turned in time improvements in all events,placing in the top three in their events.

Brothers, Alec Ortiz and Ian Ortiz, improved their times in all events and also had top placements in each.

Knight swimmers with time improvements included Dylan Bertino, Johnathon Bower, Ethan Chang, Yufei Chen, Angelina Choi, Kendall Dupree, Mohamed Elshazly, Ayden Fang, Pearson Hong, Gasia Karakesis, Euri Kim, Riley Law, AustinLee, Aaron Ly, Ava McConnell, Kayman Mowery and Matthew Sato.

Also, Vishwa Shah, Yoochan Shim, Idris Vohra, Matthew Winer, David Hernandez, Alex Hernandez, Francesca Dameron, Lucca Dameron,Avery Kamper, Eliza Kamper, Anastasia Gogosha, Andrei Gogosha, Emma Sanson and Isabel Sanson.

The South Irvine Dolphins started their season capturing 24 individual first-place ribbons. Ninety Dolphins posted time improvements.

In the 7-8 year old age group, Ashley Kwan finished first in the girls 25-yard backstroke and 25-yard freestyle and Evan Wu placed first in the boys 25 backstroke and 25 freestyle.

In the girls 9-10 age group, Yvonne Liao finished first in the 50 backstroke and the 100 individual medley and Ashley Wallin finished first in the 50 freestyle and butterfly. Phillip Wright placed first in the 15-18 boys breaststroke and freestyle.

Other individual first place ribbons were earned by Sara Arabzadeh in the girls 11-12 breaststroke, Judson Balding in the boys 15-18 individual medley, Piper Blum in the girls 11-12 freestyle, Kaili Chen in the boys 11-12 butterfly and Kyra Dugan in the girls 11-12 butterfly.

Also, Halle Ewing in the girls 7-8 butterfly, Julian Hernandez in the boys 13-14 freestyle, Lukas Johansson in the boys 13-14 breaststroke, Calvin Lee in the boys 13-14 backstroke, Jean Meyer in the girls 11-12 backstroke, Caitlyn Morales in the girls 7-8 breaststroke, Hayden Shulman in the boys 11-12 breaststroke, Julian Wright in the girls 15-18 breaststroke and Justin Zhang in the boys 5-6 freestyle.

First-place finishes in the mixed medley relays were won by William Choi, Justin Zhang, Tessa Aziza and Niccolo Troccoli in the 5-6 age group; Halle Ewing, AshleyKwan, Evan Wu and Julia Putnam in the 7-8 age group; Kyra Dugan, Jean Meyer, Lauren Kwan, and Kaili Chen in the 11-12 age group; and Carmel Lee, JT Nguyen, Julian Baskys and Eric Mumm in the 15-18 age group.

In the mixed freestyle relay first-place finishes went to Caprie Troccoli, Paul Cauffman, Kai Zeruhn and Violet Brindis-Reich in the 7-8 age group; Hayden Vogelman, Emmanual Cha, Caroline Rader and Ryan Men in the 9-10 age group; Sabine Salvuccci, Declan Edwards, Sara Arabzadehand Chloe Johansson in the 11-12 age group; and Andrew Knoell, Julia Wright, Judson Balding and Phillip Wright in the 15-18 age group.

The Dolphins are off to a great start, with 44 swimmers already achieving qualifying times for the league championships.

Park Paseo swimmers break records

The Park Paseo Northstars were paced by Evan Kim, who set three records in the boys 15-18 age group.

He swam 22:46 in the freestyle, 29:96 in the breaststroke and 57:75 in the individual medley.

Hannah Palmer broke a 23-year–old record, swimming a 34:44 in the girls 13-14 age group breaststroke.

Jonathan Cooper also set a record,swimming a 29:03 in the boys 13–14age group backstroke, while also finishing with three first-place efforts.

In the boys 5-6 division, Everett Chen, Andre Gao and Deron Hsia swept the top three spots in the butterfly, backstroke and freestyle races. Aditi Gupta joined them to finish first in the 5–6 age group mixed medley relay.

The Northstars recorded 92 top-three finishes, with 35 swimmers qualifying for championships in 77 total races.

Jalen Hsia, Andrew Teh, and Sydney Lin had three first-place swims.

Annie Saunders finished first in all three of her events. Adina Ganz had two first-place finishes, qualifying in one event.

Finishing in the top three and qualifying in all events were Ethan Chen, Paige Condy, Sasha Constandse, Brynna Hsia, Jonathan Kuo, Tyler Lin and Delaney Palmer.

Other swimmers qualifying in all of their events included Mia Alvarez, Erin Chen, Leo Giessmann, Erin Kim, Spencer Sellwood and Esteban Torres.

Swimmers earning at least one league championship qualifying time were Julianna Dru, Samuel Groysman,Nyah Lin, David Miller, Jonathan Miller, Micaela O’Connell, Joshua Sellwood, Shervin Shahriary, Erica Strock, Katie Wilhelm, Brian Wong and Timothy Yuan.

The Northstars had 161 time improvements, including three double-digit drops by Jack Dickman.

Other Northstars with three time improvements include Ellen Cassity, Alex Chin, Mary Grannis–Vu, Sophia Huang, Jake Jacoby, Sean Ly, Cailen Muncy, Stella Park, Kristoffer Renshus, Chloe Yuan and Mengshu Zhang.

Turtle Rock Broadmoor swimmers up to challenge

The Turtle Rock Broadmoor Sharks launched their 2015 season at home against the Village Parks Piranhas and earned 39 first-place finishes and 49 qualifying times for the Irvine Swim League Championships.

Mirabella Levine set Shark bests in girls 9-10 age group 50-yard backstroke (35.31) and butterfly (31.28), while Holden Levine shattered the boys 7-8 age group 25 backstroke mark by 1.43 seconds (16.90).

Holden was also part of a record-setting mixed 7-8 medley relay team that included Reagan Buchanan, Dylan Rosmann and Owen Capron (1:12.85).

Finally, Anne Jang improved her own record in the girls 15-18 age group 50 backstroke (29.09).

Sharks swimmers with multiple winning times included Andrew Capron, Owen Capron, Gabriel Hertel and William Stenta.

Eight Sharks won all of their individual events, including Reagan Buchanan, Judd Howard, Claire Jang, Alondra Ortiz and Jackson Zambo.

Other first-place finishers were William Edwards, Hunter Hertstein, Yiling Kao, Maria Langlois, Michael McPhie, Brad Nunamaker, Dylan Ohashi, Alejandro Ortiz, Vince Petokas and Madison Wakita.

Medley relay winners included9-10 age group swimmers Scarlett Purser, Renger, Levine and Zambo; 13-14 swimmers Jang, Phoebe van Es, Stenta and Ashley Nunamaker; and 15-18 swimmers Wakita, Ian Rennie,Nathan Ohashi and Nunamaker.

Freestyle relay winners were Allison Hung, Cruz McMullens, Maxson Encheff and Ellery Romesburg in the 7-8 age group and Jang, Howard, Spencer Kubit and Alejandro Ortiz in the 15-18 age group.

For Turtle Rock, 117 time improvements were recorded, led by Patrick Hertel’s 36.70-second improvement in the boys 7-8 freestyle and Gwyneth Renger’s two improvements of more than 20 seconds.

Seven Sharks had gains of more than 10 seconds, including SarahCapron, Manik Chawla, Brandon Liu, Emily Malek, Brandon McMullens and Elizabeth Renger.

Most impressively, five swimmers set new bests in every eventhey raced. They were Jacob Beddome, ThomasMarshall, John McPhie, David Song and Jadon Yang.

Woodbridge Waveriders open season with strong effort

The Woodbridge Waveriders splashed their way into another Irvine Swim League season, performing well and ending the meet with 25 first-place finishes and 144 individual time improvements.

Woodbridge swimmers that captured a first-place finish in all of their individual events were Amanda Anderson, Ian Du,Molly McCance and MayaNishizaka.

Woodbridge swimmers earning first place in at least one individual event were AngelinaAhmadi–Kashani, Marley Hickson, Dylan Oh, Emma Reichert, JC Schindler, AahanaSoni, Charlie Witterand Joshua Zalvin.

Woodbridge Waveriders earning time improvements in all of their individual events were Sydney Adcook, Amanda Anderson, Megan Anderson, Brooke Brody, Hope Brody, Seline Cheung, Ian Du, Avery Ferrero,Luke Gibson, Leila Hadhoud, Rachel Ham, Riley Hodges, Julia Jimenea, Antony Karacic, Matt Karacic, Timothy Kashani and Robin Koehler.

Also, Paisley Koh, Brandon Kuromoto,Sofia Liphardt, Tyler Liphardt, Maddie Lucas, Carson Mackenzie, Sean McCance, Colleen McCarty, Maggie McEwen, Patrick McEwen, Sean McEwen, Maya Nishizaka, Nolan Oh, Joon Park, Chloe Patist, Julia Perez, Emma Reichert, Ava Reiter, Eli Schwarz, Sophia Stewart, Dillon Tran, Sara Vanaki, Charlie Witterand Kylie Wynn.

Significant time improvements were recorded by Peyton Ferrero, Olivia Ham, Matt Karacic, Sofia Liphardt, Nolan Oh, Joon Park,Eli Schwarz, Ava Tran, Charlie Witter and Luke Gibson.

Gibson dropped 25 seconds in the 100 individual medley.

Westpark swimmers open up 2015 season

The Westpark Marlins opened their 2015 season with 146 time improvements, 26 first-place ribbons, 30 second-place finishes and 28 third-place efforts.

Marlin swimmers posting time improvements for all individual events they participated in included Andre Aguilar, Kylash Chettiar, Shelley Enomoto, Benjamin Garrett, ZacharyGarrett, Emma Guzman, Finnian Hoffman, Braden Huang, Ali Kalhor, Kayvan Kalhor, Nathan Leung, Kassidy Petty, Jemma Stanley-Jones, Jessica Tan and Isabella Venegas.

Gabriel Kirk earned first place in all three of his individual events.

Marlins earning top three in all of their individual events included Masih Chavoushi, Deea Gandotra, Kira Hazeltine, Seamus Hoffman, Ryan Khalaf, Nicole Korchev, Tiana Lin, Bryan Nguyen, Kendrick Pham,Paige Taylor, DanielaWalach, Darius Walach and Amy Wong.

Northpark placed first in the mixed medley relays in the 7-8 through 13-14 age groups.

In the butterfly, Derek Hitchens, Ryan Park and Henry Hoorizadeh each posted league championship qualifying times while improving their personal times in the 7-8 age group.

In the boys 9-10 age group, Nathan Miranda qualified as well as improved his time by 1.12. Konner Lee, Grant Hitchens, Cade McGuire, Nicholas Caiozzo and Ethan Mac qualified in the 11-12 age group.

Cami Albies, improved her time in the backstroke by 11.25 and Connor McAlister improved his time by 26.39 in the 5-6 age group.

Connor McGuire along with brothers Matthew Ludovico and William Ludovico improved their times in the 13-14 age group.

Madi Graves improved in the 9-10 age group 100 individual medley by 5.57.

Coach Grant Lissoy also improved his time in the 15-18 age group.

Giselle Looney improved her own time by 32.18 in the girls 5-6 age group breaststroke, while Micah Lee improved his time 12.01 in the boys 5-6 age group.

Brendan Connelly improved his time by 8.19 in the breaststroke while placing fifth overall in the boys 9-10 age group.

In the mixed freestyle relay, the 7-8 age group team of Ryan Garbalosa, Alexa Chandler, Madeline Malo and Gavin Looney placed first, the 9-10 age group team of Ryan Graves, Noah Lee, Madeleine Loscialpo and Jackson Graves was first and the 13-14 age group team of Lauren Hitchens, Emily Barrot,Nathan Morgan and Brandon Chen won its race.

Turtle Rock Highlands Tidal Wave swimmers record time improvements

In the Turtle Rock Tidal Wave’s first meet of the season, swimmers earned more than 150 time improvements.

Winning all of their individual events were Lia Cui, Julia Hahn, Kyle Wong and Matt Yong.

Also taking home first place ribbons were Adam Bello, Ysabel Nakasone, Koa Saito, Cameron Dorani, Zachary Gibson and Tyler Williams.

In the 7-8 age group, the freestyle relay placed first with Aidan Than, Charlie Hilgeman, Connor Wong and Brooke Yeh.

Placing first in the 11-12 age group freestyle relay was the team of Dylan Williams, SabrinaVargas, Pippa Hodgins and Cameron Dorani.

The 13-14 age group won both their relays. Those swimmers included Adam Bello, Julia Hahn, Ysabel Nakasone and Tyler Williams, and freestyle relay swimmers David Zhang, Matthew McCarthy, Alison Than and Avery Klauke.

The 15-18 medley relay team of Harper Klauke, Carly Henderson, Matt Yong and Kyla Pickell also won its race.

Swimmers with time improvements in all three of their events were Thomas Bradley, Sophie Burkhardt Gianna Davidson, KelseyEng, Avery Hexun, Noah Joshi, Chloe Mahallati, Ysabel Nakasone, Alice Pancake, Zoe Saito, Celine Shafee, Andrew Vargas and Tyler Williams.
