National Express Finance Director Finance Director Resigns; Names Replacement

Public transport firm National Express Group PLC (NEX.L) Friday said its Group Finance Director Jez Maiden has stepped down to join the specialty chemicals group Croda International Plc (CRDA.L) for the same post in early 2015. The board named Matthew Ashley, currently finance director of National Express's UK Bus business as the interim group finance director.

For the time being, Maiden will stay with National Express to ensure an orderly handover, while the company searches for his replacement, considering both internal and external candidates.
