Snow White and Huntsman 2 Release Date, Spoilers: Frank Darabont To Direct, Kristen Stewart Cameo

The sequel to the blockbuster film Snow White & the Huntsman, is rumored to be released sometime next year, 2015. Many of the actors from the original film will be performing in the sequel including Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth. However, Rupert Sanders, the director of the first film will not be returning to direct the sequel to do his recent scandal.

Sanders' extramarital affairs with actress Kristen Stewart have thwarted his attempts to return for the second installment. Regardless of both their officially stated apologies, only Stewart will return for the sequel

Director Frank Darabont, of 'The Walking Dead' and 'Mob City', has been supposedly roped in as the new director.

Some sources claim that this film will be more of a spin off than a sequel to the story of Snow White. Charlize Theron will also be returning to her role as the evil Queen. David Koepp and Evan Spiliotopoulos are set to be the writers for the script. Originally Theron was rumored to have stepped away from the role, but she recently has this to say about it, "Oh, it's gonna be f-ing amazing. No, I'm so excited about it, it's crazy," confirming her addition to the cast.

However, even though Stewart is confirmed to be return as well, it seems as though she will only appear in a cameo type role.

More of a reason to see how this is a spin off and not a sequel can be noted through the title, The Huntsman.
