Cabela's to kick off holiday season with Black Friday giveaways

Cabela's Incorporated, the World's Foremost Outfitter® of hunting, fishing and outdoor gear, will celebrate the start of the holiday shopping season on Black Friday by welcoming customers with refreshments, games, entertainment and more than $10,000 in giveaways at the company's Lubbock location.

The first 600 Cabela's customers, ages 18 and older, in line Friday morning will receive a mystery envelope containing information about their gift.

All gifts will be distributed randomly. Winners may receive their gift once inside the store. Firearm winners will be required to complete a standard federal background check to take ownership of the firearm.

The festivities at Cabela's Lubbock store will be part of a nationwide celebration in which Cabela's will give away more than $400,000 in Black Friday gifts across the company's U.S. retail locations.

Giveaways to the first 600 customers in line will include:

· Browning A-Bolt 3 Rifle

· Champion Power Washer

· Zeiss Terra Riflescope

· Masterbuilt Smoker

· Bushnell Truth Range Finder

· Nikon Prostaff 5 Binoculars

· Cabela's gift cards

· And more

Cabela's will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 27. The store is scheduled to open at 5 a.m. on Black Friday – Nov. 28 – and will remain open until 10 p.m.
