You know what they say: More mistresses, more drama. (Or at least, that's what they should say!) And that’s exactly what fans of the hit ABC series “Mistresses” can anticipate from Season 3 of the scorching hot television series developed by K.J. Steinberg.

Following Alyssa Milano’s shocking exit from the series (which was caused due to a change in filming location) it was revealed that a new character would be added to the scandalous storyline to help fill the void left by Savi (Milano). In February, it was confirmed that the “Blue Blood” actress Jennifer Esposito would be cast as the new co-lead, starring alongside Rochelle Aytes as April, Yunjin Kim as Karen and Jes Macallan as Joss in the upcoming installment of the mystery drama.

Audiences got a first look at Milano’s replacement in action as a new mistress in a Season 3 promo photo released on Wednesday by Entertainment Weekly. In the newly-released image, the four ladies lay lounging on the beach, smiling as the waves crash down behind them. But according to reports, not everything will be bright and sunny when the third installment of “Mistresses” airs Thursday, June 18.

TVLine dished that as “uber-fabulous” and eccentric as Esposito’s character Calista Raines is, she’ll also have a sinister side that’s cloaked by her upbeat demeanor. It was reported that Calista will struggle with her “devious nature” throughout the course of the season, which will inevitably end up effecting Joss. (And as well all know, Joss has enough problems already.)

Calista will attempt to take on the role of a “friend, mentor and surrogate sister” to Savi’s sibling in the forthcoming season. But will ultimately draw Joss “deeper and deeper into a world of secrets and betrayal.”
