An Oakland County resident has won more than $750,000 as the first top-prize winner in the Michigan Lottery’s newest instant game, Diamond 7s.
The New Hudson resident, who decided remain anonymous, won $777,777 on a ticket purchased June 12 at New Hudson Discount Center at 56270 Grand River Avenue, according to a press release from the Michigan Lottery.
The prize was recently collected at lottery headquarters in Lansing.
Another top prize remains in the new game, launched June 3. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at any Michigan Lottery retailer.
Lottery officials are still trying to determine the winner of last week’s $66 million Mega Million jackpot sold in Mount Clemens.
There are currently three unclaimed prizes from various lottery games purchased in Oakland County ranging from $100,000 to $250,000. The tickets were bought at lottery locations in Southfield and Novi.
