Afternoon Delight: America Ferrera in cop gear, Amanda Seyfried’s “In Time”

Happy birthday to Crystal Chappell! The Venice star turns 46 today.

And happy eighth birthday to my cat Shelby “Cakes” Kregloe! Yes, I now like cats and kids. What’s happening to me in my old age?

Last night, House’s Olivia Wilde sat down with Conan O’Brien and made him blush. Then Wilde tweeted about her accomplishments.

Wilde’s my kind of lady!

Speaking of Wilde, The Change-Up star plays Justin Timberlake‘s mother (yes, mother) in the futuristic sci-fi film In Time. The film is “set in a world where people stop aging at 25, but are genetically-engineered to live only one more year, having the means to buy your way out of the situation is a shot at immortal youth.” Red Riding Hood‘s Amanda Seyfried also stars in the film, sporting an adorable bobbed ‘do. (Pay close attention at the 2:17 mark if you want to see Seyfried strip.) In Time hits theaters on October 28.

Glees Lea Michele graces the cover of September’s Harper’s Bazaar. The triple threat discussed her bright and busy future. Michele says, “I don’t stop. It’s my nature. People have to tell me to slow down. I plan on playing every role on Broadway. I want to do movies, make music. Glee is only the beginning.” First a group number, then a solo, then world domination!

I love a lady in uniform. Enter America Ferrera! Photos of Ferrera on the set of her new cop drama End of Watch, co-starring Jake Gyllenhaal, have hit the web. The Ugly Betty star sports a gun and bulletproof vest in her portrayal of Officer Orozco. Ferrera looks like a real cop, which is kind of scary.

Out comedian Suzanne Westenhoefer will be performing tonight and tomorrow night at 8 p.m. at the Michigan Womyn’s Music Festival. Online tickets are now sold out, but if you’re in the area (Walhalla, MI) you can buy tickets at the door.

Be sure to enter this year’s “WNBA Score Your Seats Sweepstakes.” You could win airfare and hotel accommodations for two in the host city of the 2011 WNBA Championship in October, as well as two tickets to Game 3 in the Finals. To enter, visit logotv.com.

Video of the Day:

Check out this deleted scene from last night’s episode of Exes & Ohs, in which Sam (Marnie Alton) discovers her “inner Martha Stewart.”

Never underestimate the power of a good old fashioned home-cooked meal!
