Lil Wayne And Young Thug Sound Exactly The Same On New Track 'Take Kare'

'Take Kare.'

Since he first gained a major buzz, Young Thug and his sound have been drawing comparisons to Lil Wayne. And with good reason. Weezy is his favorite rapper, and earlier this year, he even told Complex, "I want to get in the studio with Wayne more than anybody in the world."

Well, he finally got his wish. Early Thursday morning (October 16), the two released their collaboration "Take Kare," which will serve as the lead single for the upcoming Rich Gang 2 album.

On the melodic London On da Track-produced song, the two rappers trade verses -- at times sounding eerily similar to one another. They each play with their flows and do weird and creative things with their vocal pitch. Not that that's a bad thing.

Thugger has already made it clear that he hopes to carry on Tunechi's legacy. Last month, he told MTV News that if Tha Carter V is the last in the Young Money rapper's series, then Thug would like to put out Tha Carter VI through Tha Carter X.
