That's just what happened when Michael Jackson's brother Marlon sat down to chat about family matriarch Katherine Jackson, who was confirmed to be safe with family members in Arizona, despite reports last week that suggested she was missing.
"We've been told our mother is safe," Marlon told The Insider as he sat alongside brothers Tito and Jackie. "She's doing well. But we have not spoken with her. We have not talked with her and I don't know where my mother is."
Marlon began to break down, before adding: "All I know is there's somebody who made the decision that my mother cannot talk to me, and whoever that person is, they've got to answer to me. Because I'm going to see my mother and I'm going to bring her home. I'm going to get to the bottom of this."
He then proceeded to get up and walk off.
Marlon, of course, isn't the only one frustrated by the lack of contact with Katherine. Her granddaughter Paris has been very vocal via Twitter over the fact that she and her brothers, Prince and Blanket, have not heard from her, either. Katherine is the children's legal guardian.
"8 days and counting. something is really off, this isn't like her at all," Paris tweeted on Monday. "i wanna talk directly to my grandmother!!" And on Tuesday, she wrote: "9 days and counting... so help me god i will make whoever did this pay."
On Monday, a physical altercation took place at Katherine's residence, with her attorney, Sandra Ribera, telling E! News that Janet, Randy and Jermaine Jackson showed up at the house in an attempt to get Paris, Prince and Blanket to go with them.
"Following the incident, it was learned that one of the family members who was part of the ambush admitted that a plan has been in place for the last three years to remove Katherine Jackson from her home and her beloved grandchildren," Ribera said.
