New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents an evening with The English Beat and UB40.

The English Beat called "one of the leading lights of the British 2-tone/ska movement of the '80s" by The Los Angeles Times, opens the concert.

UB40 - featuring singer-songwriter Ali Campbell, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Astro, and keyboardist Mickey Virtue - topped the UK singles charts on three occasions and sold 70 million records on the way to introducing their smooth yet rootsy musical blend to all corners of the globe. The trio, along with a seven-piece band, perform freshly minted songs from the album Silhouette along with classic singles, including "The Way You Do the Things You Do" and "Higher Ground."

Fans also can expect to hear UB40's cover versions of songs by musical greats, such as Bob Dylan, The Beatles and The Chi-Lites.

Sunday, November 1, 2015 at 7:30 PM at Prudential Hall. Get your tickets now at NJPAC.org or 888.GO.NJPAC (888.466.5722).
