Chicago firefighter injured in South Side blaze

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A Chicago firefighter was injured in a house fire in the city's South Side, officials said.

The fire broke out early Saturday morning in a two-story house in the 9800-block of South Dobson in the Cottage Grove Heights neighborhood, officials said.

Paramedics treated the firefighter at the scene before they took him to the hospital.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
