Eden Hazard Rejects Paris Saint-Germain Rumours

French champions Paris Saint-Germain may still be courting Eden Hazard, but the Chelsea star has insisted he is going nowhere.

The mega-rich Ligue 1 side have long been admirers of Hazard, although it seems their affection is very much unrequited.

Speaking to Canal+ (quotes via Daily Mail), Hazard said:

PSG are in the same world than Chelsea. But, to be a top club they need to win the Champions League. I'm fine with Chelsea and this is where I want to continue to grow. PSG are not in my head.

Hazard's comments will be welcomed by Chelsea fans who have adopted him as a favourite since his £32 million move from Lille in 2012.

Only last season he was voted Player of the Year and is much-loved on the Stamford Bridge terraces.

Ryan Bertrand Hints at Making Southampton Loan Move Permanent

Ryan Bertrand has enjoyed an excellent start to the season with loan club Southampton and is hinting he could make the move permanent.

The left-back has been at Chelsea since he was a youngster, but he has found it hard to cement a place in the first team at Stamford Bridge, enduring a number of loan spells.

However, this season's move to Saints has seen him enjoy his best spell away from west London thus far.

According to the Daily Mirror, in the club's matchday programme from Saturday's fixture against Queens Park Rangers, Bertrand explained he hopes to remain with the club in the long term.

"In a way, me as a person and Southampton as a football club are quite similar. We’re both striving to do great things," he said.

Bertrand was also critical of the way he feels he has been treated at Chelsea:

I had a chance to move from the club, but I was advised that I didn't need to do that.

It all unravelled in front of my eyes, and certain things didn't make sense in terms of what certain people had said to me. All I ask for is honesty, and I didn't get that.

I wanted to be in a situation where the club is looking for the same things.
