BUENA PARK – Coroner’s officials are asking the public’s help identifying a man who died after apparently jumping from a freeway overpass, and tracking down his family.
Authorities have not yet identified the man, who jumped from the Beach Boulevard overpass onto the southbound I-5 on July 1.
Coroner’s officials say he appears to be a Middle Eastern or Hispanic man, approximately 50 to 65 years old, about 5-foot-9, 183 pounds, with gray-brown hair, brown eyes and a short, gray goatee. The man had poor oral hygiene, authorities said, with two front canine teeth and recessed gums.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about the man’s identity or his family to contact the Orange County Coroner’s Office at 714-647-7411.
