New Orleans singer August Alsina does not hold his tongue for anybody and he's not one to be messed with.

That was made very clear in the past when he expressed his strong dislike towards fellow R&B singer Trey Songz who he once upon a time collaborated with on his "I Luv This Sh*t" remix.

"I don't really f*ck with Trey right now. We don't get along right now," he told Rap-Up TV last month. "We ain't on the same page. He did some other shit and we just don't rock."

He continued, "We were supposed to have a show together and it just went left 'cause I can't deal with ni**as' egos and attitudes 'cause I'm just a real ni**a comin' through and I'm rockin'."

Another thing Alsina apparently couldn't deal with was when BET 106 & Park host Keshia Chanté asked if he and Trey would eventually bury the hatchet and move on.

He responded, "So you just gon' go against the grain and just go against everything that ... I just told y'all not to ask me that sh*t when I got up in here."

After a brief awkward silence and clear tension on set, (after all, there's no cursing on 106 & Park... it's branded as a "family" show) Chante stood her ground and retaliated with, "You've spoken on the radio stations and blogs and you're on the show and fans wanna know. And I'm asking you what fans wanna know. That's it. If you don't wanna answer it, that's fine!"

August snapped back with, "I won't."

Perhaps Alsina was annoyed during the interview on Tuesday since his intention was to promote the release of his debut album, Testimony, which is in stores now. However, as a newcomer in the music game, Alsina should be mindful of not coming across as an ill-tempered artist that isn't easy to work with and, most importantly, an artist who is disrespectful to women.

A simple, "no comment" would have sufficed... no?

Former 106 & Park host Rocsi Diaz took to Twitter to defend her successor: "Let me go on record and say Keshia Chante did her job as a journalist. Any other Radio or TV personality or blogger would have asked too. 2 even applaud how she was responded 2 is what's wrong with our generation 2day. Also that language on @106andpark its not even necessary."

What do you guys think? Did Alsina take it too far or should Chante not have asked the question?
