Larry David’s Feelings Hurt Over The “Seinfeld” Finale, May Not Wrap Curb

larrydavidpodcast2

Right now, Larry David is sincerely doubting that there will be another season of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and he definitely doesn’t feel the need to wrap up the series. Larry sat down with Bill Simmons on Grantland to talk about closure for “Curb” and why he doesn’t need it.

When Larry David was asked if “Curb” was even getting another season, he answered, “I guess the odds would be against it. I guess, right now, the odds would be against it, probably 6 to 1.” When Simmons suggested just one 90 minute long finale, Larry told him why that’s not important to him anymore.

Larry got his balls busted so badly over the “Seinfeld” finale, he said he no longer cares about giving his series an ending. “Well, you know, I got so much grief from the Seinfeld finale, which a lot of people intensely disliked, that I no longer feel a need to wrap things up.” He added, “I wouldn’t say I’m mad about it, but it taught me a lesson that if I ever did another show, I wasn’t going to wrap it up.”

No Larry you misunderstand, we don’t want a wrap to Curb.  We just want you to keep going. And going. And going.
