1 injured in rear-end collision in Mille Lacs County

ONAMIA – A 63-year-old Isle man was hospitalized Wednesday after the vehicle he was riding in was involved in a rear-end collision.

Bude Fondurulia was the passenger in a 1996 GMC Sierra when it struck the rear of a Chevy Silverado that was slowing to turn into a driveway while going west on Minnesota Highway 27, according to a report by the Minnesota State Patrol.

Fondurulia was taken to Mille Lacs Health System in Onamia with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

The driver of the Sierra, 42-year-old David Mattison, of Onamia, had no injuries listed, according to the state patrol report.
