BRUNSWICK >> A 29-year-old Brunswick woman is facing drug charges following her arrest Tuesday by State Police.

State Police in Brunswick charged Lisa M. Fagan with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance; possession of a hypodermic instrument, aggravated unlicensed operation and other traffic charges.

A trooper stopped Fagan for speeding on Route 7 and, while interviewing her, he observed drug contraband in the vehicle. The trooper then conducted a search and found a small amount of heroin and several used hypodermic needles. Fagan also had a suspended driver’s license.

She was arraigned in Brunswick Town Court and remanded to the Renssealer County Jail. Fagan is scheduled to appear back in court at a later date.
