If you want to catch Jesse James Dupree wielding a chainsaw, see him Saturday night at Green Bay Distillery.

Jesse James Dupree wields a wicked chainsaw at night and pitches his own brand of spirits during the day. You can catch him doing both on Saturday.

But if you'd rather see him with a bottle of whiskey in his hand, look him up earlier in the day at Festival Foods.

The frontman of rock band Jackyl will do a bottle signing for his own America's Outlaw Bourbon Whiskey at 5 p.m. at the grocery store at 2250 W. Mason St. in Green Bay.

That's right, chainsaw-soloing rocker on "The Lumberjack'' by night and CEO of his own line of alcoholic beverages by day.

For those still planning to see Jackyl, you'll want to grab your tickets ASAP. Less than 200 tickets remained earlier this week for the 8 p.m. show with Wayland. They're $20 in advance at greenbaydistillery.com; $30 night of if there are any remaining.

TOMMY 12

In what has become as passionate of a music tradition as you'll find in Green Bay, Thanksgiving weekend means it's time for Tommy 12.

The annual benefit to remember Annex bassist Tommy Steinbruecker, who died in a motorcycle accident 11 years ago, is set for Friday night at the Riverside Ballroom. It's a collaborative effort among the local bands who donate their time for the evening — and get the chance to hang out together — and the volunteers who help with load in and load out.

Doors open at 6 p.m., with music by Johnny Wad at 7 p.m., Shaker and the Egg (which played its final show of its own on Wednesday) at 8 p.m., Consult the Briefcase at 9 p.m. and Annex at 10 p.m.

All proceeds help local kids with a love for music get their hands on instruments.

Brad Paisley will turn up the twang when he brings his Country Nation World Tour to the Resch Center on Jan. 29.

CONCERT NEWS

It's official: Brad Paisley will play the Resch Center for a concert at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 29 with Parmalee and The Swon Brothers.

Tickets will be $59.75 and $29.75 when they go on sale at 11 a.m. Dec. 5 at Ticket Star outlets, (800) 895-0071 and ticketstaronline.com.

The three-time Grammy winning country singer, songwriter and noted guitarist is extending the tour into 2015 for its final leg in support of his latest album, "Moonshine in the Trunk.''

» Also, mark Reverend Horton Heat down for a return appearance at Green Bay Distillery on March 8. Tickets are on sale for $20 advance.

BATTER, BANDS UP

The Milwaukee Brewers are getting into the concert business, and we're not just talking that One Direction concert at Miller Park on Aug. 25.

The team will host three game-day concerts next season as part of a new postgame concert series. Joe Nichols (May 29), O.A.R. (June 13) and the Goo Goo Dolls (Aug. 15) will perform free shows that are included with the cost of that game's ticket. They'll go on sale in 2015 along with other single game tickets and will be priced according to the Brewers' demand-based pricing model.

For fans who want postgame field access to one of the concert games, there's a Black Friday special that also includes a ticket to the Dew Deck and a buffet. Three hundred such tickets for $129 each for each of those games will go on sale at 12:01 a.m. Friday only at brewers.com/blackfriday, along with field outfield box seats for $49. They'll be available for 24 hours or until sold out.

GIGS

People back home for Thanksgiving combined with people ready to get out of the house after Thanksgiving with the relatives combined with people in town for the New England Patriots-Green Bay Packers game should mean busy bars and a full slate of live music this weekend. A sampling:

» Big Mouth & The Power Tool Horns are sure to max out the crowd capacity at Jimmy Seas with a gig at 9 p.m. Saturday.

» RPM wades into the thick of the Pats-Pack madness with a gig starting at 11:25 a.m. Sunday in the Tundra Tailgate Zone in the Lambeau Field parking lot, and Johnny Wad will be at the ready to play for the post-game crowds at The Bar on Holmgren Way.

» Old Kids on the Porch will reunite for their first show in eight month at 9 p.m. Satuarday at St. Brendan's Inn.
