Booneville man shocked while working on machine
Guntown police are investigating the death of a maintenance worker.Police Chief Michael Hall told the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal that authorities responded to the H.M. Richards frame shop Wednesday and found Raymond Reece, of Booneville, had been electrocuted while working on a machine.Hall said they were told Reece thought he had the power turned off, but it was not.The chief said medical personnel arrived and began CPR and continued efforts to revive 46-year-old Raymond Reece, of Booneville, as he was being taken to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.Lee County Coroner Carolyn Gillentine said Reece was pronounced dead at 12:14 p.m.
