Robert Rocky Brewer, 61, of Texarkana, Arkansas, has been arrested by Magnolia police and charged with forgery in the second degree.
Brewer had his first court appearance on Tuesday before District Judge Mike Epley with the case being bound over to Circuit Court. Brewer was released after posting bond.
Brewer’s arrest comes after a complaint was filed with the Magnolia Police Department about a check written to Brewer. The check had been altered and cashed for more than the original amount. Brewer is a self-employed gravel contractor.
