Charlotte Ann Elrod Yarborough, 80, died on Monday, July 28, 2014 at Pruett Health Care in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.
Mrs. Yarborough was born January 4, 1934 in Trion, Ga., the daughter of the late Fred Elrod and Terry Bynum Elrod. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Yarborough was a member of the Church of God of Hammondville, Al.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Grant Yarborough; daughter, Carole Jean Wheelington; brother, Paul Elrod; and a sister, Dorothy Elrod McGinnis.
Survivors include her husband, Harvey Malcolm Yarborough; three sisters, Betty Fowler, Freddie White, and Antoinette Finster; grandchildren, Melissa Weaver, Amy Collins, and Misty Mauldin; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Johnson, Riley Collins, Brooklin Collins, Rowan Weaver, Ariana Nofsinger, Luke Britton, and Allison Britton.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p. m. on Friday, Aug. 1, at Mason Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Allen Snow officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her nephews.
Mrs. Yarborough will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 31.
