Latin pop star Luis Miguel, who earlier this year took home the Billboard Latin Music Award for Tour of the Year, is teaming up with SBS Entertainment for a 5-city west coast tour launching Sept. 17 in Phoenix, Ariz.
The 44-year-old Grammy winning singer is also scheduled to perform shows in San Diego, Los Angeles (two dates) and Oakland with tickets ranging from $21 to about $165, according to an SBS spokesperson, who added that the unusually lower priced ticket is for fans who have never had the opportunity to see the crooner live.

“SBS Entertainment is pleased to work with a world renown superstar like Luis Miguel, an artist with an undeniable musical trajectory,” said Lucas Pina, SVP SBS Entertainment at Spanish Broadcasting System, in a statement. “He has conquered the world and broken Latin music touring records year after year. On a strategic partnership with Live Nation in this tour, we continue to advance our mission to produce highly successful tours with the best Latin music talent in the world.”
Miguel, who was born in Puerto Rico but has called Mexico his home for decades, has been in the spotlight most of life as a child star who went on to have a lucrative career rooted in Latin pop music, romantic ballads and a rebranding of classic Mexican songs. An artist who generally avoids the public spotlight other than to perform, the singer has had a thriving touring career.
