PHOENIX – Super Bowl XLIX doesn’t kick off for another five days, but all of the festivities surrounding it have already started in the Phoenix area, with most of the nightlife in Arizona revving up Wednesday night.

Even if the extent of your Super Bowl party plan entails having some friends over for pizza and beers on Sunday, here’s a window into where the athletes, celebrities and models will be hanging out in the desert. While many of these events are off limits to the general public, take comfort in knowing that the bathroom line at your house will definitely be shorter.

Moves Magazine Kick-Off Party
British pop artists The Ting Tings headline one of the first parties of Super Bowl week, which will also feature a performance by hip hop pioneer Grandmaster Flash. Located at the Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale, the event will be hosted by former Arizona Cardinals star and aspiring filmmaker Simeon Rice.

DirecTV Super Fan Festival
The entertainment company has set up shop all week at the Pendergast Family Farm across the street from University of Phoenix Stadium. They’ll host concerts each night, beginning with a headlining show by Zac Brown Band on Wednesday. Unlike many of the other events on this list, fans can buy tickets to the festival on Stubhub.

Madden Bowl XXI
Nelly and Florida Georgia Line are the musical performers at this annual showcase, which will feature a handful of NFL stars trying to take over the title of Madden Bowl champion from last year’s winner LeSean McCoy. The event, which takes place at Scottsdale music venue Livewire, will also feature a performance by Lil Jon.

Big Game Experience
Hosted by actor Jamie Foxx, this party at the W Scottsdale hotel is open to the public, with tickets available here. The sometimes musician isn’t slated to perform, but football movie fans can at least hold out hope he’ll break out a chorus from his Any Given Sunday song at some point.

ESPN The Party
The network hosts its 11th annual Super Bowl party, taking over Scottsdale’s Westworld and transforming it into a modern home with life-sized rock walls and formations. In addition to a guest list packed with pro athletes and ESPN personalities, the event will feature performances by J. Cole and Charlie XCX as well as a DJ set by Questlove of The Roots.

Leather & Laces
The first night of this two-night annual event kicks off at The Bentley Projects Gallery in Phoenix, with supermodels Behati Prinsloo and Lily Aldridge hosting on Friday.  Both will be also seen in a new Victoria’s Secret ad on Super Bowl Sunday.

Bud Light ‘House of Whatever’
The Hotel Palomar in Phoenix has been transformed into giant venue overtaken by the giant beer brand. The details are still somewhat vague for partygoers – hence the “whatever happens” theme – but there will be three days of concerts, DJ sets and plenty of promised surprises.

The Playboy Party
The media brand may not have cultural cache it once did, but they’re still plugging away with one of Super Bowl weekend’s most notorious parties. Headline performer Nelly, dozens of Playmates and a bunch of former frat bros with wildly unrealistic expectations for the evening will all be under the same roof at the W Scottsdale.

Saturday

DirecTV
New Orleans had Justin Timberlake. New York City got Jay-Z. Now Phoenix will have Rihanna as the headline performer for DirecTV’s Super Saturday Night party at the Pendergast Family Farm in Glendale. The previous two invite-only concerts both featured some big-name surprise guest appearances and it’s a decent guess that this year will be no different.
