Pittsburgh Penguins Vs. Toronto Maple Leafs GameDay, TV/Radio, And Preview

After a 6-4 victory over the Anaheim Ducks on Thursday night to open the season, the Pittsbugh Penguins are on the road Saturday as they take on the Maple Leafs in Toronto.
The Pens’ victory was their fourth consecutive win in their season opener. Meanwhile, Toronto dropped their season opener at home 4-3 to the visiting Montreal Canadiens.
Pittsburgh made another roster move as they recalled defensman Scott Harrington on Friday morning from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League. They also re-assigned defenseman Taylor Chorney to WBS.
Everybody practiced on Friday, and according to Seth Rorabaugh of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette assistant coach Gary Agnew worked with the penalty-killing group since three of Anaheim’s goals came on the power play Thursday night.

Odds: According to Bovada Online Sportsbook, oddsmakers currently have the Penguins listed as 130-moneyline favorites versus the Maple Leafs.
Last season, the Black and Gold took two out of three games against the Maple Leafs. They dropped the first match up on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013 to the Maple Leafs 4-1 at the Air Canada Centre.
The Pens claimed the middle game on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013 in a shoot out 6-5. Toronto returned to the Steel City on Monday, Dec, 16, 2013, and went down to defeat 3-1 for the second straight time.
According to NHL.com, Jonathan Bernier is expected to get the nod between the pipes for the Leafs. The 6-foot, 185-pound netminder went 26-19-7 last seson with a 2.68 goals-against-average. He turned away 28 of 32 in the season opener on Wednesday in the loss against Montreal. In his career, Bernier has never registered a win against the Black and Gold.
The Penguins are back at Consol Energy Center on Thursday, Oct. 16 to take on the Dallas Stars at 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ROOT Sports Pittsburgh.

Going into tonight’s contest, the Captain has 20 goals and 23 assists in 28 career games against Toronto.
