Finding someone to share your life with has never been so difficult but when you're The Mimic aka Martin Hurdle you can always spice things up in the bedroom department.

The newly unemployed maintenance man, played by Terry Mynott, is back and between the sheets in Channel 4's creative comedy.

After quitting his job at the end of the first season, Martin's now getting up to all sorts and in tonight's episode Jean sets him up on a blind date with an assertive body-language expert from Zumba classes, and the pair soon hit it off over the impressionist's uncanny knack for mimicry.

In the above clip Martin takes on the roles of David Attenborough, Bill Nighy and Ian McKellen.

As David Attenborough he says: "The mating ritual continues... Oh careful, I’m in me 80s, you don’t want to kill a national treasure.”

Later the steamy session see Martin transform into Ian McKellen, he says: “Stay away from the ring - none shall pass!”

Watch the video above to see which unlikely TV personality pops up next.

Meanwhile, Neil enrols on a 'build-a-ted' workshop to make a cuddly toy for Jean, in the hope of winning her back.

* The Mimic returns to Channel 4 tonight Wednesday 23 July at 10pm
