Drew and Jonathan Scott, hosts of the HGTV reality show “Property Brothers,” will give a talk next week at the Greater Lehigh Valley Realtors’ open-to-the-public Signature Event at Bethlehem’s SteelStacks.

Drew Scott is a real estate expert who finds neglected houses and negotiates the purchases. His brother, Jonathan, is a contractor who uses computer-generated imagery to show potential buyers what the house could look like after renovations.

Together, the brothers help families find, buy and transform fixer-uppers into dream homes. The show, in its seventh season, airs at 9 p.m. Wednesdays.

Ryan Conrad, CEO of the Valley Realtors group, said: “This is our third Signature Event and by far the best talent we’ve been able to attract. ‘Property Brothers’ is very popular and a household name. Drew and Jonathan Scott are not just real estate experts, but industry celebrities with mass appeal.”

The event — which begins at 4:30 p.m. May 27 at Musikfest Cafe — will begin with a Home Buying Expo, where hundreds of professionals will be available to offer advice on building wealth through real estate.

Having well-known speakers attracts consumers who can also learn more about the home-buying experience while at the event, Conrad said.

The Scott brothers will talk at 5:30 p.m. about market trend information, promoting homeownership and marketing and branding success strategies. The event is open to real estate professionals and members of the public who are interested in learning about buying and selling or investing in real estate.

A cocktail party with hors d’oeuvres — until 8:30 p.m. — will give guests a chance to network in a social setting. The popular local Craig Thatcher Band will perform.

The Scott brothers have hosted several other shows, including “Buying and Selling,” “Brother vs. Brother” and “Property Brothers: At Home.”

The Greater Lehigh Valley Realtors is a trade association representing more than 2,000 Realtors in Lehigh and Northampton counties. The association owns and operates the Greater Lehigh Valley Multiple Listing Service and the Greater Lehigh Valley Real Estate Academy, and is publisher of The Greater Lehigh Valley Real Estate Weekly.

Tickets are $50. Guests also may buy $15 meet-and-greet tickets to get pictures with the brothers. There is a discount for Valley Realtors members.

VIP tickets are $350 for a table of 4, and include front-row seating and a reception before the event to network with real estate professionals.
