Ashton Kutcher has said it is a "great privilege" for him to play Steve Jobs on the big screen.

The actor plays the Apple innovator in director Joshua Michael Stern's fllm Jobs, which dramatises the entrepreneur's life from 1971 to 2000.

Kutcher discussed Jobs with E! Online, saying that the project allowed him to indulge his passion for business.

"For me, the idea of playing Steve Jobs, it was somebody who I admire and respect for his innovation and creation - that was an honour," he commented.

The actor continued: "It was also an opportunity to spend three months studying how to be an innovator, how to build a successful business, how to be an entrepreneur, which is something that I'm really passionate and interested in. So it was a great privilege really."
