Country star Kacey Musgraves is one of several new acts added to this summer’s Music in the Zoo series at the Minnesota Zoo.

The lineup was revealed Monday, and has since expanded to include the Grammy-winning Musgraves on July 9 (tickets are $59); the rootsy trio of Ry Cooder, Sharon White and Ricky Skaggs on July 16 ($55); and blues rockers Black Joe Lewis and local singer/songwriter Caroline Smith on July 23 ($36). Also, the Salt-N-Pepa concert originally scheduled for July 9 will now take place July 8.

Tickets for the entire run of shows will go on sale at 10 a.m. April 25 through etix.com and in person at the Minneapolis Electric Fetus. VIP boxes (with four seats) will go on sale starting Thursday, followed by standing-room-only passes on April 24. For further details, see suemclean.com/zoo.
