WWE rumors: Daniel Bryan unhappy with Royal Rumble 2015 outcome

The issues surrounding the 2015 Royal Rumble continue to mount but this time it has nothing to do with the disappointment of fans when Roman Reigns won the 30-man battle royal.

To recall, the returning Daniel Bryan was initially tipped as the potential winner of the rumble but the WWE decided to go with Reigns instead. Apparently the WWE was leaning to a Roman Reigns-Brock Lesnar showdown at Wrestlemania 31.

However, no thanks to the negative impact of the fans during the recently concluded Royal Rumble results, all that could possibly change. It wasn't about Reigns' victory that led to the disappointment of the fans but rather on how it all ended.

Going back to Bryan, he was among the wrestlers tossed during the match. Fans apparently lost interest when he was eliminated and Bryan, according to a report from the Wrestlezone, was visibly disturbed when he went backstage.

"Not exactly sure what happened, but we were near backstage and he walked right by all of us," Shaeen said. "We said hello and he paused, looked at us with a blank stare and then walked off. He looked super pissed and completely ignored all of is. It was very awkward to say the least."

"It was really weird," he added. "I know people will want to believe that he was just 'selling' it, but it was strange. I'd like to think that I have a pretty good understanding of kayfabe and this seemed legit. He wasn't selling anything. There were 10 of us there and he really came off like an a—hole, which is really unusual for Bryan."

And now the wrestling world is up and thinking, will Daniel Bryan follow the footsteps of CM Punk who ironically was last seen at last year' Royal Rumble?

There is no doubt that Bryan is a fan favorite and for someone who has returned from a almost career-ending injury, Bryan may have expected something more. And based on the fans reaction that night, it seemed that they too felt the same. Maybe Bryan could have stayed on until the final competitors squared off in the ring? Possibly.
