Alexis Bellino is leaving the Real Housewives of Orange County after three seasons.

The reality TV star, who lists her age as 32, has been at the centre of plenty of drama since joining the show and even allowed cameras to capture her plastic surgery procedures.

Now sources close to Alexis insists she is parting ways with the Bravo network of her own accord to escape the petty fighting and stress it is putting on her loved ones.

The mother-of-three and wife of property owner Jim Bellino has grown tired of the drama apparently, with a source telling Radar Online: ‘Alexis doesn’t want to be a part of the show.

‘She wants to have a normal life with her family, and that doesn’t include all of the drama that comes with being on the show.’

According to reports, the producers of the hit Bravo show wanted Bellino to return for another season, but she couldn’t cope with the hostile environment.

Alexis said: ‘I feel sad that it reached the point it has with some of them. Vicki and I are still good friends. We speak every week and hang out when we get the chance. ‘

The insider continued: ‘Alexis knows that her children are the most important thing in her life, not being famous or being on television, so she made the decision to not be on the show and to return to her regular life.’

However her enemy and co-star Tamra Barney today hinted Alexis had been fired from the show.

She wrote on Twitter: ‘Let's just say the story I read and what I was told does not match. in my opinion her story is never straight!

‘Not the same story I was told …let's keep it at that. who leaves a successful show?’
