Traffic mishaps claim six lives INLAND EMPIRE--Victims in a rash of deadly traffic accidents have been identified.
Witnesses say that Jose Ramos-Velasquez, 56, drove his car into oncoming traffic on Perris Boulevard at JFK. Ramos and his passenger, Antonia Nava, were killed but a child in the back seat of their car was unhurt. In San Jacinto, a 90-year-old driver perished in a collision of his car and an SUV. Killed was William Harris of Hemet. In Victorville, witnesses said a motorcyclist had been recklessly speeding down Nisqualli Road when his sportbike hit a curb. Conrad Vega, 23, man died at the scene. Also in Victorville, authorities have identified Lionel William Stanfield, 25, a pedestrian who was struck while trying to cross a dimly lit section of Palmdale Road. In Loma Linda, a head-on collision on Anderson street killed Cay Ishiguro-Paw, 54, of Redlands, one of the drivers. (INT) Story Date: November 11, 2009
