DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Oakwood native Chad Lowe returned to his old stomping grounds Monday night to throw out the first pitch at the Dayton Dragons game.

Lowe is also part of the All Star events in Cincinnati. The Oakwood native said it was a “dream come true” to participate in the Dragons game.

“I’m a big Dragons fan. I just love the consecutive sellouts. I follow the team. I live in Los Angeles but I keep up with them and just to get up on that mound and throw the first pitch is really thrilling,” he said.

Lowe added he’d be thrilled to showcase Dayton and its history in film. He even suggested he and his brother, Rob Lowe, could play the Wright Brothers.
