In the wake of Elin Nordegren’s graduation speech, the often silent and studious ex-wife of Tiger Woods says things are “really good” between the former couple.

The recent graduate of Rollins College told People Magazine she continues to call her therapist once a week while she recovers from the drama of their 2010 divorce when she discovered his double life as a serial cheater.

Her $100 million divorce settlement bought a new mansion that’s only a short drive away from Woods in southern Florida where they share custody of their two children.

“My relationship with Tiger is centered around our children and we are doing really good – we really are – and I am so happy that this is the case. He is a great father,” Nordegren told the magazine.

Nordegren admits she was devastated by the news of Woods’ excessive philandering and even went through intensive therapy to get through the tough times.

“I’m not going to deny that I went through the wringer, but I don’t think I doubted we’d end up here,” Nordegren said.

The daughter of a divorce herself, Nordegren only hoped her children would have two loving parents “that show respect for each other,” she said.

The magazine claims Nordegren broke her four-year silence on the topic, but she referenced the divorce and joked about it at a May 10 graduation ceremony for Rollins College while sharing a bit of real-life advice for outgoing students.

The college also gave her the Hamilton Holt Outstanding Senior Award.

The Swedish-born student spent the past nine years studying for a psychology degree and graduated earlier this month with a 3.98 GPA.
