Hank Williams, Jr.'s latest album includes a collaboration with one of country music's most beloved icons, Merle Haggard. The two sang together on Haggard's 1980 hit, 'I Think I'll Just Stay Here and Drink,' and have now released a video for the classic tune.

“Merle is one-of-a-kind,” Williams explains. “His music resonates with fans just like mine does. Making this song was simple, it maybe took two takes. Then we spent the rest of the time laughing and telling old road stories. Merle and I are for the everyday working man and that’s something we have in common.”

Haggard originally included the tune on his 'Back to the Barrooms' album, and took it to the top of the charts. Williams recorded the song for his album 'Old School, New Rules,' which was released last year.

Williams will return to Nashville on Dec. 31 for his fifth annual 'Bash on Broadway' show. Prior to taking the stage, he will also receive the 2013 Operation Troop Aid Patriot Award, in recognition of his ongoing support for the military and their families.
