That has happened to Ralph Lauren. Lauren’s latest line-up, unveiled this week in New York before an audience that included the actresses Glenn Close, Jessica Chastain and Jodie Turner-Smith, was the epitome of understated elegance.

Holiday 2024 presentation, the designer looked inward to host something a bit more private: he invited guests to his design studio on Madison Avenue, and showcased a collection that uplifted “timeless” style and quiet luxury.
