About two dozen South Salem High School students walked out of school Wednesday in support of Palestinians. Along with students from other area high schools, they joined the annual International Workers’ Day rally at the Oregon Capitol in downtown Salem.

As unrest continued at college campuses across America on Wednesday, protests flared again at Emory University after social media posts encouraged protesters to gather at the quad in support of the pro-Palestinian movement.

Demonstrators once again gathered on campus at Emory University Wednesday afternoon to protest the Israel-Hamas war and the controversial Atlanta Public Safety Training Center. Earlier in the day, students gathered on the campuses of Kennesaw State University and SCAD.

Over 100 pro-Palestinian protesters gathered at Emory University Tuesday evening, calling on the University to divest from companies based in Israel.
