With its operating costs under control and passenger demand rising, Wizz Air expects to make a tidy profit in F24.

Wizz Air Holdings Plc narrowed its net income guidance for the full year as the budget airline faces aircraft groundings because of engine issues on some of its Airbus SE jets.

Wizz Air's net income for its financial year to March 31 was in line with expectations between 350 million euros ($375 million)and 370 million euros, it said in a trading update on Thursday.

Central European budget carrier Wizz Air had 45 grounded Airbus A320neo-family aircraft, some 20% of its fleet, at the close of its fiscal year on 31 March, the result of Pratt & Whitney engine inspections.
