On April 20, Frankel shared several photos of herself with her mom Bernadette Birk, announcing her tragic passing. “My mother has died of lung cancer,” Frankel shared in her statement. “She was complex, in pain, isolated and had demons.”

Bethenny Frankel is putting her podcast Just B Divorced on pause as she grieves the death of her mother. In a statement shared on social media, Frankel announced she would be temporarily removing some podcast episodes on halting the series.
