From Cemetery Inscription of Claiborne Parish, Louisiana Volume I Rocky Springs Cemetery - Lisbon, Claiborne Parish From Lisbon take Louisiana Highway #2 for 0.1 mile, turn right at the sign reading "Rocky Springs Baptist Church", go .05 mile to Cemetery and Church (Survey made 07 Aug 1984)

The cemetery is on FM 1910 just west of Dialville, along both sides of the road. It is adjacent to Rocky Springs Missionary Baptist Church, which is the cemetery's namesake. In front of the church is a state historical marker, which references the cemetery. The marker is along the south side of the road.

ROCKY SPRINGS CEMETERY (Page 49) In August of 1830 in the State of Tennessee, Madison County, Charles Riddle, John Parker and William Hale, who were of the Baptist faith, living near the meeting house, held a conference to become a body and form a church, which four brethren and a slave was received by them into the presbytery formed.
