This is a good biography of Charlotte Bronte, who had a difficult life, and also a good teaser for getting children interested in Jane Eyre, which was on my shelf of "annual re-reads" for about 12 years. Just finished reading this tonight. Spent every spare moment for the last few days trying to savour the last little bit of it. Boy, it's an amazing book!
