About hotels

We're excited to share our Hotels Search tool, which includes our patent pending Rate Indicator. We already provide great new features to plan and shop for hotels stays, but there are a few limitations you should know about.

  • Rate Indicator Coverage: You can search hotel rates for most cities. However, Rate Indicators are limited—30 destinations, missing many major hotels. We plan to improve our coverage to eventually include all major cities and hotels in the U.S. and around the globe.
  • Data Limitations: We have limited access to data and since we search multiple sources for rate and availability information, there will be times when such information may be mismatched for a particular hotel. We are working to provide better and more accurate data as soon as possible.
  • Design Testing: While we're confident in our initial design of Hotels, we know there's always room for improvement. What counts most is what works best for you. So if you see something that could be better, please let us know.
  • Booking Connections: We search a number of sources to find the best rates for you on third-party sites. We'd also like to provide links directly to hotel chains and are working toward that for a future release.
  • Mapping Features: Comparing the distances of hotels from landmarks and from one another is easy and customizable. However, we're working out some kinks with both our pinpoint locations (e.g. City Centers) and basic mapping features (i.e. zooming and positioning). Note: The mapping feature is not available when using Safari.

As we work aggressively to make improvements, your feedback is extremely important to us. Please send any suggestions and bug reports using our feedback form.
