A meteor was spotted Sunday along parts of Florida, from Jacksonville to as far south as Miami, and even in some parts of Central Florida. It's been the talk all over social media, with the hashtag #MiamiMeteorite trending after many people in Florida reported seeing a meteorite the size of a baseball in the sky. The American Meteor Society is investigating about 30 reports of meteor sightings in Florida Sunday night, labeling it "Meteor Event 313" for the year.
