Dog turns pooper scooper: Golden retriever help...
Orca the golden retriever is a real bow-wow at changing nappies.
Disabled mum Cheryl Alexander just has to say the word and he fetches the mat, the wet wipes and a new nappy, pulls off four-month-old Lily's babygro, then bins the stinky old nappy.
It brings a whole new meaning to pooper-scooper...
Teacher Cheryl suffers from nerve disease Reflex Neurovascular Dystrophy, which severely limits her movements.
"Due to the pain at times it's impossible to bend down or do the simplest tasks," she says.
Orca, a specially trained assistance dog, was provided by charity Canine Partners.
"I call him mother's little helper. He's a wonder dog," says wheelchair user Cheryl, of York.
When husband Andy is at work Orca helps her with scores of tasks including the family shopping and the washing.
"Lily loves him," she says. "Now we say she has three parents."
