Goal of the Season Contender! Toshihiro Aoyama ...
Saturday, May 12th, 2012 In a moment of pure opportunist genius, Toshihiro Aoyama flashed his name up in lights on Saturday scoring a world-class goal in the J-League.
Only six minutes had past in the match-up between Sanfrecce Hiroshima and Yokohama F.Marinos when Aoyama shattered the goalless serenity with a 75-yard lob of the highest quality.
The action started when a Sanfrecce midfielder made an innocuous tackle midway through his own half. Following that the ball rolled inadvertently to Toshihiro Aoyama, but at no point did it look like a goal-scoring opportunity had arrived.
Then that all instantly changed as Aoyama pulled back his trigger, booted the ball 75-yards upfield, and unbelievably his shot sailed over the keeper and straight into the net.
Moreover, following Aoyama's amazing strike his Sanfrecce teammates pulled off a superb bowling goal celebration that elevated the moment even a higher level of top-draw entertainment.
