Harvard May Reconsider ROTC Ban
The votes by Congress to repeal the military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy could lead Harvard University to reconsider its ban of ROTC programs on campus. In recent years, the school said the policy violated its anti-discrimination regulations. But now, university president Drew Faust says she looks forward to talking with military leaders about bringing back the military programs. ROTC was barred from the Harvard campus in 1969 amid the turmoil of the Vietnam War.
