Principal Stars Arnold in TERMINATOR 2 to Appea...
Erik Naumann, a Boston-area high school principal, has been suspended for two days after showing of video of himself starring in his own version of "Terminator 2" to students.
Parts of the video show a terrified woman running away from him in the school's hallway and sends menacing messages like, "was he sent to save us, or destroy us?" and "Everett Public Schools would never be the same." It concludes with a voice saying in a fiery frame, "we are all doomed."
EVERETT, MASS.— A Massachusetts principal has been suspended for two days without pay for appearing in a spoof of "The Terminator" movies that was shown to students.
The Everett schools superintendent's office confirmed Tuesday that Erick Naumann, as well as the teacher who made the video, received equal punishments following a closed-door meeting Monday night.
The video was shown last month as way for the new principal to introduce himself to students. It shows him walking through the empty school dressed like Arnold Schwarzenegger's character, terrorizing a woman. It also shows scenes from the movies, including a burning playground.
Some said the parody was inappropriate and too violent in light of the school shooting in Newtown, Conn.
Superintendent Frederick Foresteire says Naumann made a poor decision but is a good leader.
Naumann, who has apologized, was supported by many students and parents at the meeting. (The Star)
